Oh, forgot to mention that if you want your car judged, registration closes tomorrow. You can register the morning of the event if judging doesn't matter to you.

However, for the past 2 years we have been forgoing the cruise in favor of getting a good parking spot on the lawn by leaving after the "Breakfast of Champions". Then it wouldn't matter what time we meet, just so we do between 7-7:30 giving us time to register and eat. It's up to you guys. Remember though, there is no saving spots on the lawn at the event, but it can and has been done BUT, it's the luck of the draw.

Sooooooo, what is everyone doing on this? Are you guys, or do you normally do the escorted drive? If we stay together on the drive do we stand a chance on parking together? I'm the new guy on this event so just let me know. I'm game either way.

Staying together either cruising or going straight to the event you are always guaranteed to park together, one simply leads the others. However depending on when you arrive at the Boardwalk, and if you cruise, will determine where you park at the event, either the upper or lower field. First come first served. The upper field is best. I am all for not cruising but if one or two decide to cruise I could save the spots, provided there are 2 cars to do so. Simply fill in the spaces between the 2. I have a 10x10 awning we could wrangle around to save the space as well. Again, nothing is guaranteed if this is the way we go. I recommend you do the cruise if you haven't before and take your chances. We'll figure something out. BTW I know you and Rich are going....who else?

Cool thanks for the input..... I'm an early bird, but my wife ----not so much. I'll try to get to the Boardwalk early so to get a good spot. If it looks like were going to run later then we'll go straight to the park. PM me your cell and I'll keep in touch. Were staying in Capitola on Friday night and Saturday night so we will be close in the morning!!!!!
