Let's plan to meet at the Santa Cruz County Building, 701 Ocean Street, at 6:45. Then we'll all drive over to the Boardwalk, park together and have coffee and donuts. We can decide then whether or not any of us will want to do the cruise. I have a 10X10 awning. We'll need it! If anyone else still wants to join in, you can register at 7:00 am but your car will not be judged at the event. See you all there.

Yep, I got my confirmation card for this event, too.

Looks like 4 total so far, including Bruce in his '55 Ford and adding Luigi to your list here based on his post #3 to this thread. Perhaps Luigi will confirm it.

My brother-in-law entered his '69 Charger in this show but I'm not expecting him in our group.

    See you there, earlybirds!

    Here's the Santa Cruz meet

Fun in the California sun yesterday in and around Santa Cruz:

Bruce left his D home in favor of his sharp-looking '55 Ford wagon, which accompanied Stephen's and Rich's D's. The cars queued up in the early morning fog at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, followed by a half-hour police-escorted cruise for >100 cars via Capitola to the Scotts Valley venue of the Cops 'n' Rodders car show. We enjoyed blowing through dozens of stop signs and traffic signals all the way there.

When the fog burned off in Scotts Valley we showed the stainless on a sunny day with lots of for story-swapping and the usual high interest level from attendees. First place in the '80's division went to Stephen, second place was for Rich.

Big thanks go to Bruce for making it happen - again! And thanks for sharing that canopy, too.

Bruce and Stephen Bruce's Ford and two '81s ready for dawn patrol at 7AM

Still foggy on the lawn at 9AM

    Sunny and pleasant after 11AM

Stephen? First place? You don't say.

Looks like a fun time! Would have loved to make it. We need another big club drive somewhere, I love that stuff.

    body work near Santa Cruz

    Hi guys,
I just had someone back into my RH door. The dent is about 10 in. diameter and it popped back out but left a circular crease line in the stainless steel. The door works OK but the window is jammed. Any idea who I might contact to get it fixed? By the way, I am an Elks member and license plate is DELORAN. I live in Ben Lomond and I met you before Bruce. I lost your number or I would call you.

Holy crap, that really sucks. Hope you find Bruce, I don't have his contact info or I'd send it over. Try sending a pm to user 'Rich', he may have it.
