I think this effort may be more successful if you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your car, when you got it, who's going to do the conversion, etc, etc.

Probably shouldn't be in the "videos" section either for maximum exposure

I will not contribute to the bastardization of another DeLorean.

I am curious as to your motivation for doing this though. Also, why are you using Kickstarter? It's not like replicas don't already exist. There's dozens of them. What do you plan to do with yours? What would make this different from ALLL the other ones out there? Is this for your own personal enjoyment? I just don't get why you're trying to use Kickstarter to get money for this project.

Yes Internet, I would also like $5000 free cash to spend on my DeLorean, please send it immediately by PayPal. Backer rewards? I'll box up and send random things in my loft, expect to receive only the finest semi-working mid-90s electrical equipment.

    Who are you?

Perhaps I'll start a campaign to ask complete strangers to help me pay off my mortgage.

    I see 2 major problems:
    1) $5000 in 13 days? Best of luck.
    2) $5000 to build a replica? The last number I recall hearing was $45,000 to build a proper replica. $5000 will more likely build you One Of These
