    New DeLorean owner in Tampa...

Hello all. Long time DeLorean fan and first time owner as of a few weeks ago. '83 with 5K miles. #6215.

Looking forward to being part of the Florida DeLorean community and meeting some of you and seeing all your great rides.

Also very interested to know what the general consensus is on DMC Florida in Bonita Springs for service, repair and restoration type work? Does everyone use and like them? All good experiences? Any bad? I appreciate any and all feedback.

I know there aren't many gatherings or events this time of year but would love to get an intro to any fellow Tampa/St.Pete area owners. I'm downtown Tampa (Channelside).

    Welcome.

We normally quote the last 5 digits. If it is an 83, the VIN would be 16215. (6215 would be an 81)

    Nice looking car

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

Congrats and welcome to DeLorean ownership. Looks like you have a very nice condition car there! The suspension stance looks excellent... Do you know what springs/shocks are installed? It's definitely lower than stock so I'm guessing Eibach springs?

    Welcome!

As for DMCFL, I can't say enough nice things about them. Had my windshield and some interior work done there, came back perfect. Tony is a great person with a great crew who do great work.

Welcome aboard! There's lots of experience and knowledge in the DCF group, so you'll be in good hands here. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your car at the next event...provided I have a car on the road by then!
