    Whats the best spray paint

I know Ive seen this somewhere but I cant find it. The reason Im asking is because I seen my fuel tank cover plate looked a little wet. After taking the panel down I discovered some gas (that I spilled) had made its way onto the plate and turned my cover plate epoxy into mush. Im going to clean it up and repaint it but im not too sure what the best paint to use for quality and color matching (light gray). Any ideas? What has everybosy else used? Any pics? Thanks..

For top coat color matching I used Rustoleum Smoke Gray, but if your epoxy is peeling you'll want to use POR-15 first as a base coat.

Gas will not turn the epoxy to mush. Brake fluid will. You should check your brake and clutch masters for leakage. Its a VERY common problem to have epoxy issues here for this very reason.

Ditto. My fuel tank cover plate was eaten through by brake fluid. I replaced the plate with a SS plate.
