Nice...M edition!
My wife has had hers for over 15 years. Hers is the first year of the Z3 (1996) and still under 100k miles. I have to admit, it really is a fun car to go on Sunday drives in and unlike the DeLorean, nobody notices you.

Its actually the 2.3. That M was just an emblem a PO put on which I took off after this picture. This one is a 2000 just over 100k. Strangely though, it got way more attention than my delorean pictures ever did on instagram.
An M edition would be nice but theyre way too pricy. I'd go with the 135i instead.
Edit: I also prefer the interior in your wifes car. I got the gaudy blue leather.

I don’t know how this project will go over on this forum, but here is a project I just got legal on the road. I’ve been working on this for ten years. Everything is custom made by myself. It’s mostly Ford running gear except the Cummins engine.

It’s the first time I ever painted a vehicle. Not a great job, but probably better than the military does.

I also have never done upholstery. The canvas cover on the rear turned out pretty bad. I did learn a lot and I plan to make another.

I did have the seats upholstered by a professional. Everything else in the interior is my work.

Some of you guys might recognize the look of the cab. It’s supposed to look like a HEMTT. (You can DuckDuckGo that if you want to see how close I am) The only actual part on this truck from a HEMTT is the “Oshkosh” badge on the front. All sheet metal is mine.
Note, the tires are 2” taller than the roof of the Delorean.
