Who knows what they are doing, all I know is that it wasn't in their magazine. I don't think hallmark would go that cheap to make cardboard ortiments, when they are famous for this stuff.

The other two ornaments shown look to be cardboard too, especially the General.

I apologize if I'm missing the sarcasm but some posts seem to be serious about the cardboard ornaments. When Hallmark has an ornament that hasn't been released yet the stores have little cardboard cutouts hanging in their place. Most of the time these are photos of the prototypes so they look slightly different or in the DeLorean's case, missing parts. I'm positive on release date you will get metal and plastic miniature DeLorean Time Machines.

Source, I collected Star Trek ornaments for years.

So you are saying that all future Hallmark ornaments will be made of cardboard or just the Delorean and Star trek ornaments will be made of cardboard?

I think the Disney ones will be as well but not the Star Wars ones. Never the Star Wars ones. Those will be made of graphite.

No sarcasm from me. Just ignorance I guess Not a great collector of anything.

Everything is being "de-contented" at the altar of "value", so I had no trouble believing that someone would market cardboard ornaments. Nor that people would buy them.
