    Little more info, check out Tamir's site (http://www.entermyworld.com/history/delorean-documents) - scroll down to the section "DMC Safety Vehicle" - the scanned document at http://www.entermyworld.com/cat/dhis...le/dsvf1x1.jpg mentions the airbags specifically, but it's all interesting info.

    Can you imagine airbags with Lucas electrics? Shudder....
