    I am opening this up again. I might be in the market for one. I am feeling a bit uneasy when thinking about longer trips with my wife through areas where I have no cell reception to call BCAA and the dilemma to hand my wife either a rear wheel onto her lap or to leave it hidden on the side of the highway when using a spare. These luggage racks fold nicely into the trunk and can live there. But the price on DMCH is somehow ridiculous.

    Anybody willing to part from theirs or have a cheaper alternative?

    They are expensive because James Espey has been warning us for a few years that their original stock is almost gone. And once it is gone they have stated there is no intent to reproduce it, because it would have too long of a payback.
