All I can think about is the time someone slid into my DeLorean at a stoplight. The road was slick & it was dusk. The person fled the scene (naturally the DeLorean was too damned slow to catch up to them). No real damage to my car... the foam behind the bumper did it's job. But if the same thing happened to Jeremiah's car, it could possibly disable his vehicle. Not a knock against him or Eddie, but this solution makes me a tad uneasy.

I understand when doing custom work on cars there are always compromises, but this is one I wouldn't dream of doing myself.

Please ignore the sissy boys, that is some fine work. I would be proud to own that car.

No one has said it isn't fine work, and really, a safety concern makes someone a sissy?

Eddie will step in soon and clarify this.

Actual snippet of a conversation from Sept 2013:

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.

Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....

Hi Ed - Just brilliant packaging, well done! Would you considering selling another VR6/UN1 adapter (either in physical form or a .stl / tool path copy of the model)?

    Thanks!

Ah-I only now remembered this application is a automatic, not manual/UN1.

Keep in mind the latest photos Eddie posted are "progress photos" not finished photos.
As Eddie has previously mentioned, many views are final mockup photos, in progress.

There are plenty of possible options to partially modify the foam out back to allow for
the intake pipe to pass through, while still protect and support the rear fascia, etc. in
the rear of the car. With Eddie's fabrication skills, a custom solution is a given.

With flexible couplers to this intake pipe, I doubt that a minor rear collision would
disable the car (probably just cause this intake pipe to be disconnected).

Excellent progress so far Eddie. Keep up the great work.

PM him about it. I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to take that on.
