    It has always puzzled me how you reconcile the fact that no matter how good the "hot air dam" is at diverting radiator exhaust away from the bit of the chassis in fron t of the tank, the darn thing sits on top of the (very hot) coolant pipes, and has a constant circulation of fuel running through the metering head on top of the (hot) enigne.

    +1 the hot air blown over the tank from the radiator is nothing compared to the effect of fuel constantly cycling through a hot metering head and the tank sitting on two hot rad pipes.
