Dominos Pizza DeLorean - the For Sale photos from October 2002

Came across these photos while searching through my archives.
I actually did make an offer on this car back in October 2002.

The Dominos Pizza DeLorean was in Kokomo, IN back in late 2002
and I recall it showing up on ebay a few years ago as well.

Attaching a few photos of one of the earliest custom painted D's.

Any idea how much this car sold for? I asked the current owner but he's pretty protective of this car. He doesn't give up any information willingly.

In that case, I don't think anyone here that knows what it sold for would tell you either. We respect each other's privacy.

They could not deliver it in 35 minutes or less, so it was free.

Reading the comments, everyone wants the DeLorean, no-one the MGs.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

It distresses me every time I see paint over all of that beautiful stainless steel. To me it's like spray painting over a Michael Angelo original. The only reason I could ever see as justification for painting a DeLorean is if there were so many dents in the stainless that it simply wasn't worth completely re-skinning the car. In that case, why not. Do the body work and spray away. You can always re-skin it later. Just a personal opinion, which is worth what you paid for it. ;-)
