    Inside the Oil Pressure Sender

    As an engineer I need to know how things work. So when I replaced my oil pressure sender, I cut the cover off of the old one. I found it very interesting that it is simply a piston pressing against a spring-loaded arm that moves a potentiometer (variable resistor). I snapped some pictures to share...Tom
