Motor show, Ebrington Square, Derry N. Ireland

This show was held to raise funds for a local hospice. The venue is Ebrington Square, Derry, Northern Ireland, in the grounds of a former British Army barracks. It's the perfect place for a car show.
There was a huge amount of stuff on display, cars, bikes, tractors, etc.
Got to meet another new owner, David (DMCNI) who made it down from Belfast. Hopefully his car will be here next year too!

Oh and I couldn't resist taking a pic with the clock tower!

Forgot to mention... We ended up talking to a guy that used to work in the DMC factory. His name is Ray McCrea. He worked in the emissions end of things, operating a rolling road and various other things. Very interesting to hear the stories from back in the day!

    Nice pics as always Martin.

Another Mini with those lovely metal wheel coasters Ypu need to get a set for the D to stop your tyres getting dirty, or whatever they are for.

That poor Scirroco! Why would you do such a thing?

That red NIFB Mini van is both old (DIA) and beautiful looking. And that silver Celica looks awfully familiar.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

My in-laws went to the show in Derry and said that the DeLorean was creating the biggest buzz.

Nice to see a good sunny day, and Great photos!!!

Cheers Dermot, yeah the only bad thing about that venue is the yellow clay on the ground - it gets everywhere!
Dunno what the story is with those Scirocco wheels - they look really odd....

Had a great time at the show, it was great meeting Martin, who clearly loves and looks after his DeLorean...and to top it off he took me a spin around the town in his car...makes me want mine up and running and the road even more grrrr the car is as it is in the pictures stunning

As Jeffs family said the car was creating some buzz...the pesky kids hoping in and out of it was unbelieveable....also getting to meet ex employee Ray McRae was an added bonus, I am sure he has plenty more stories to tell.

Heres a few pics I took at the show...
