I think for our swap we're gonna go with a direct-injection 3.6 from the new Camaro - weighs about 20 pounds more than the PRV but is almost identical dimensionally. 324 HP mated to a G50 transaxle could be exciting in a DMC.

Still no choice for the new DeLorean engine. So Sad!!! I was hoping for a factory supported engine swap. Just put a high revving 4 cylinder in it and get the show on the road.
If JZD wasn't limited to picking a modern engine, he probably would have selected an electric motor.

Haha! No problem; I was a bit pissy there too. I remember being so disenchanted with the PRV at that point after being underwhelmed by the Stage III. You will always will be far more knowledgeable on the 2.8L and 3.0L PRV than me. All good though; clearly you found your way to the correct engine platform in the end

Mr. John DeLorean's planned development of a twin turbo v-6 was ahead of it's time. That engine setup is now the rage. Wish the DeLorean Motor Company would step their game up and do what they say they are going to do.
