Anyone ever tried Pulstar spark plugs?

Essentially they act like capacitors, storing up lots more energy per "spark" than a normal plug. They claim significant, if modest, improvements to hp, torque, and fuel efficiency.

You don't want to store it, you want to jump the spark gap.

    Snake Oil.

If it was that easy to improve hp, torque, and fuel efficiency they'd be in every car manufactured in the past 15 years.

I always like when a professional technical document uses Wikipedia as a reference

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

The plugs only get voltage when they are suppose to fire. A capacitor would delay the timing on the first pulse and then just hold a voltage (below the plug gap level) after that. Would be funny to put a capacitance meter on one of these and a standard plug just to see what capacitance difference they have. Did you find the patent number they own?

Good point, I'm pretty embarrassed I didn't consider that Oh well, I guess I'll have to stick with slapping a Type-R sticker on the bumper for a free HP boost!

These look similar to the Nology Hotwires, which are pretty much a scam. DMC Houston was actually selling them for a while before Ed Uding (@DMC Europe) did some dyno testing and proved they were a waste of time.

1258 runs the Nology set up. I can't say I've noticed any change, but she's also got the StageII thing. It certainly doesn't seem to hurt anything, but I wonder what would happen if I took her back to a stock set up.

Just imagine the massive HP gains when using the nology hotwires together with the pulstar spark plugs. Your engine may literally explode there is so much raw electrical energy present
