    De-Saturn

My friend was at my garage a while back and we decided to try this out. I think the picture and his facial expression sums everything up:

haha...that's better than I imagined in my head before clicking on the thread.

    A few things I noticed:

-The front and rear bumpers on the saturn are darker, similar to a DeLorean's painted fascias
-The smaller diameter front wheel/larger wheel gap results in a similar appearance of a stock DeLorean suspension's higher front ride height.

The real question here is how did the Saturn wheels look on the D?

I once owned one of these saturns (same color as well). If you think a D is slow, this thing is the sloth of the car world. If you want to pass on the highway you have to plan it 5 minutes ahead of time.

Haha, you are much more observant that I am! I just love how ridiculous the rear tire looks.

Could this FINALLY solve the mystery of the DeLorean front end height? I think it just might! Somebody didn't compensate for the larger diameter rear wheels & tires, hence the larger wheel well gap up front.

It depends on which configuration you had. In college I drove a '93 twin cam SL2 with a 5 speed. It was pretty peppy.

    My wife owned a SC1 with a single cam engine and a 4 speed auto. S L O W ! ! !
