Too many unknowns.
What's the frame look like? What's the interior look like? Shows as a Flood Title in the specifics then says Clean title in the description? The guy interested is in the 310 area code which is CA so add another $1,000 - $1,500 for transporting a non-running car to CA.

Guess the title is good, at least for now per the Auto Check. Not sure if the owner has filed an insurance claim and the title will be updated with the new owner then show as flood or not.

There are pics of the interior in the listing.
It's definitely nothing I'm interested in, just posting 'cause it's something different to look at.....something interesting to talk about.
My retired repair garage-owner Father has been looking at DeLoreans with me for the camaraderie, as well as an experienced mechanical eye. I think I might show this one to him & tell him I'm thinking of buying it just to give him a daily dose of ball-bustin'. Maybe I'll tell him we're taking a roadtrip downstate this weekend just to get a closer look at it in case the pics don't tell the whole story -lol!

Whoops, you're right. Guess I need to learn to scroll.
The binnacle is good, Woo Hoo! Unfortunately for the seller, it's looks like there's some folks bidding that probably won't follow through. Your friend may have a chance at it. The seller could have spend a little time cleaning it up some before taking the pictures.

Personally, I commend him/her for not trying to hide the fact that it was flooded. They could easily have given the whole thing a pressure wash (inside and out) and just gone with the "ran when parked in 2001" routine.

Sad to see a car meet a fate like that. Makes me glad we don't have those extremes of weather over here.
