    I'll need to see one in person, but I think they look really good. I like the DMCMW stitching....seems a little bit more "subdued."

    Hopefully I'll get a good look at a few at DCS; I'll have a new fiberglass repro with me, and if I prefer the leather-wrapped, I'll be looking to sell/barter.

    I wonder how much a local boat upholster would charge here in Freeport. Just to wrap (and sew) my bondoed , almost perfect, binnacle. I was going to plasti-coat it but a chip came off it and i figure it's worth a shot at least to go ask. Hell, I can't see it beeing anywhere near $200-300.

    Depends on the cost of local labor. And I've seen a few pretty dismal attempts from people who were supposed to know what they were doing.

    That looks really nice. I like the grey stitching a lot. There was some talk in the other thread about why DMCCA did white stitching instead of grey, and the logic was that the center console has white-ish stitching, so it would match better. I can see their point, but in a photo by itself I like that grey stitching better. Would be interesting to compare in real life in a car.
