I have similar starters in both my cars, but its hard to cross reference this from what I find. It needs to be for a 6 cyl Eagle premier with a 3.0 liter engine... Does that help?

If you have an oem starter - you will likely get more as a core from someone in the community than you will from auto zone - if you exchange it for a core it will never find its way back onto a D.

I ran a 1991 Eagle Premier 3.0 6 cyl through Auto Zone's web site and got the same one. I'm pretty certain that's exactly the starter I have on my D.

Here's a pic of one from my Albumn, next to the OEM.

I sometimes wonder if there is some inventory analyst at Autozone wondering why they are suddenly selling so many Eagle Premier/Dodge Diplomat starters. There can't be very many of those even on the road any more.

That Eagle crossover part is significantly smaller - any noticeable difference in starting force/speed or weight? Just curious.
