    Oild drain plug

OK this might sound stupid to most of you but I am attempting an oil change. I see where the filter is but where is the oil drain plug? Can someone send me a pic or a place to go see it online?

Right between the oil pan and the frame cross member facing forward on the car.

You need the worlds most ridiculous adapter to get it off, unless you've already got one!

How did the oil change go? Btw, I highly recomend you purchase a normal oil drain plug from your vendor of choice once you get the old one off.

The adapter you need is a "volvo / renault" drain plug tool, they do sell them at the pep boys, not near the tools though, I think they are near their selection of drain plugs. They did not however have a replacement drain plug.

Also, anyone have a link to a source for a normal bolt replacement drain plug? Mines in pretty poor condition.

    John Hervey sells them here.
eBay selling at it's best I can tell you stock Delorians and quite a bit of slugs so the Turbo is a super nice up-grade.

    Oil Change Update

Well I order one of those new plugs from Hervey. Still waiting on that and some oil filters. After that I am ready to go.

Slid under the car (good thing I didn't have a big lunch) and found that dam plug, so thanks.

What is that thing to the left of the oil filter?
