I think the handling by lotus badge really only looks good in the engine bay. Anywhere else to me just looks disruptive and out of place; especially on the stainless (No offense John)

As far as the Styling badge, either the engine compartment or the passenger side door opposite the vin plate. These are the two places where information about the car are kept anyway. Again, putting the badge on the the stainless to me just completely disrupts the flow and design of the car; ironically with a little plate talking about the styling of the car!

I say put it somewhere where people can read it if they wish but dont force them to read it. Just seems kind of tacky or gaudy to put it where someone HAS to read it; almost like it's being flaunted. To me it would be like DMCH putting their "stage 2 engine" or "remanufactured car" badge in the middle of one of the quarter panels.

    Just my opinion.

    Non taken.
I know you're right, and that is why I am considering to remove it. But than I need to blend it again so it can not be visible where it was. I just hope I can remove it without damaging it.

the badge in discussion here is nice too but is not ideal to be put on the body of the car either. Too bit with too much information on it.
Just a nice logo would be nice.

Are your Lotus badges using the original adhesive? I have one in my engine compartment on the right side of the engine cover stay and I had a hell of a time trying to get it to stick. Perhaps it was because of the Turtlewax F21 I've used in cleaning the engine, but still. I tried alcohol and several other cleaners to get the surface ready. I think in the end I had to use superglue to get it to stay. Might be a decision I'll regret if I ever decide to remove it but hopefully that wont happen, lol.

Is it possible to read the plaque in the engine bay? Looks tiny.

Ive got the auto shifting plate, so when i get mine, im going to stick on the passenger side, mirroring the VIN plate. Would look better behind the shifter or if u have a later model, next to the dimmer switch.

Oh yeah, totally readable. It's the glare from the flash that makes it hard to read.

    Post Got my badge

Tim D from Delorean Motor City gave me a nice badge while visiting the Woodward Dream Cruise. I installed it on the passenger side door jam opposite of the VIN plate, looks and fits great. Thanks Tim!
