    50K car and Guigiaro mockup

Here are some pics of the test car and the wooden mockup from the Ulster Transport Museum that I took yesterday. I realise most of you guys have seen this before, but I took a few closeups and some from different angles you may not be familiar with. I hope they're of some interest!
Sadly the car looked in a bit of a sorry state. I know it was incomplete to begin with, but some things have definitely gone walkies over the years.
Also I didn't know the mockup was different on both sides!

Thanks for posting! The mock up was very interesting. I had only seen 2 pics of it in the past and they didn't show much detail.

Nice to see the mockup is in the museum again! When I visited the museum in 2011 (Eurofest), the mockup was in the basement and we didn't get to see it ... I hope it's still there for the 2016 event!

Great pics Martin. I had never seen the photos of the "interior" of the mock-up - very interesting?

Does the 50,000 mile car have a VIN plate still on it?

Wonder what happened to the exhaust piping?

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Good photos as already mentioned, the rear of the T panel is also screwed down into place.

Notice the lack of exhaust as well.

Its a pity the museum dont see right to restore the car to its former glory.

Maybe restoring it wouldn't be the best idea. This car was put through the 50k test...and it shows. That's part of it's history.
