The switch cap is thinner but the switch fits into the stock cutout on the one I have.

Dave, do you have a part number or the car the defogger switch is off of? I need one of those too and haven't been able locate it on the cross reference sheet.

Sorry, no part number. It was already installed in my car when I bought the car. I think I glued all my switches into the metal plate so can't pull it without pulling the center console. These were pretty commonly used 6 or 7 years ago before DMCH reproduced a switch.

I haven't been able to find anything via cross reference, would you by chance be able to take a photo of the one in your car so I can try to locate it through some of my Renault buddies?

I'm pretty sure its the identical switch, only DeLorean had a different cap made. You can probably snap a stock DMC defroster cap onto that Renault switch.

It's just an issue of finding that particular switch....Let the hunt begin.

Looks like we may have found it....If so, definitly need to get it added to the cross refernce list.
My Renault buddy is trying to see if he can put his hands on one, but it appears to come out of a Renault 15 or 17
