Awesome!!! I have been waiting for this!!
Can the threaded stud be lowered, in order to slightly lower the knob? I thought I could do that to the stock using 2 nuts and try and screw it in more, but no luck.

Had to call Josh since international shipping seems to be broken ATM for the online checkout, but ordered ok and the part is on the way. Should work well with the stainless / LED shift gate.

It looks fabulous! I wonder if the Lotus folks know about this; IIRC the gear lever in the D is identical to the one in the Esprit S1 and S2.

I want to apologize to everyone for the online store shipping calculation issues. US sales seem to be fine but anything outside of the country is hit or miss on work. As always feel free to call or email for quick parts orders.
I will be filling a gap in our staff shortly with a full time IT/webdesign/marketing/etc position as I am striving towards having the most up to date offerings, online store and product information in the community.

I have my shift assembly out of the car, and the rod came out easily enough. but I am having a HELL of a time getting the new rod into place. Very fiddly getting the washer + circlip back into place. Is there a trick to this that I am just not seeing?
Or is it possible to hammer/press out the rod that holds the fork onto the bottom? That would make it SUPER easy to put back together.

Please see all of the pictures I posted in the thread below. In the pictures I describe some details of the 5 Speed Gearchange Assembly when it has been removed from the DeLorean.

I've been trying what Mark showed in his link for a few hours now, and all I have to say is wow. This is an incredibly annoying job. Is it possible to take the assembly apart further? I don't see how I can possibly get it back together without doing so.
