St Patrick's Day parade, Buncrana, Ireland

    Hey folks,
we had our parade in town today; here are some pics of our BTTF themed float! I mentioned the other week about my workplace doing a "Shave or Dye" event for cancer charities... this was part 2 of the event. Around 50 workmates had their heads shaved or dyed but I haven't heard how much money they raised just yet.
The scariest part of the day was getting the car loaded onto the lorry. Thanks again to all that offered tie-down advice! In the end we decided to drive onto a steel plate and lift the lot into the lorry, then attach ratchet straps to the towing eyes on the car. It was a 3 mile drive from the factory yard to the town, I was driving along behind praying something didn't snap or fall off.

The float was a big hit, I just found out that we are supposed to have won the best float award. I'll find out tomorrow for sure. I had a CD playing Huey Lewis and Johnny B Goode on repeat and a smoke machine blowing out the back (that worked better than expected). I also got my rear vents made and fitted.
The guy swinging along on the rail and harness stole the show!

Credit also goes to Michael Babb for his outstanding work on the banners!

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

You did absolutely an amazing job with those vents. A+ Also the parade set up.
Would you mind sharing your design and how you mount those vents on top of louver?
    Very impressive.
