the WHAM probably got overheated!! (only for movie connaiseurs)
Looks like it started at the engine. I can highly recommend new fuellines, it is a fire hazard.

Seeing pictures like that are the reason why I always carry a fire extinguisher behind the driver's seat!
I also just ordered Hervey's stainless braided fuel lines from the fuel filter to the fuel distributor along with the return line.
By the way, is there any particular engine compartment fuel line with a higher failure rate than the other lines?
