Spring SEDOC Tech & Social Days - Saturdays May 24 and 31, 2014 - Buford, GA

Alright everyone, mark your calendars! We're going to do this on Saturday May 31, since the 24th is Memorial Day weekend, and many will probably have family plans and such. Even though DPI Josh doesn't have time for us (I wish him well with his busy business), Kyle is a skilled mechanic (as well as Ben, Ron, Sean, etc…) and will be bringing some tools along. I've made a list below of work mentioned in the other thread, so if anyone has anything to add please chime in so that we'll have the necessary tools and parts.

Historically we've had an "official" starting time of 10am, but please come as early as you like and stay as long as you like. If a job takes all day, we will get it done, no pressure. Even if your car doesn't need work, or if you can't bring your DeLorean, or don't even have one, we'd love to have you be a part of the day. If anyone needs the address, please PM me.

Chris - install DPI exhaust, replace tie rod ends and steering rack boots
John (RammJaeger) - replace driver's side window motor
    Ben - replace fuel pump?

Cheers everyone and I hope to see you on the 31st!

I have experience with both window motors and fuel pump replacement, so I can help John and Ben.

I've done all of those repair listed so far, fuel pump est time:45-1hr, tie rods and rack boots est:45-1hr, less if there is no rust, exhaust hopefully 2hrs est. depends on studs and removal of original exhaust.

any reason to bring my spring compressor for the suspension? might help if we are going to be replacing dereks trailing arm bolts.

I'm going to try to attend. I'm not sure what will still need to be done to my D by this event. I know the drive down from Chattanooga will be a good test trip for my D before I attempt to make the trek to Dayton with her.

So when Chris can't get his exhaust finished on the 24th he can just come back again on the 31st.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
