I just went by Harbor Freight to get a rivnut tool. It was the first place that I found that actually had one, but they were only available with attachments for standard threads, not metric (the rivnut I need to install is an M5 rivnut). I'll keep looking.

It was so awesome to finally be able to drive around with the windows down. I drove all the way home with the windows down!

So I have some people to thank:

    - Ron, thanks for spending so much time getting my window motor in and my door back together. Thank your wife too, I'm sorry I didn't catch her name.
    - Ben, thanks for helping me with the struts and doing the getting my door disassembled and old motor out.
    - Chris, thanks for giving me a lift to get part!
    - Derek, thanks for the lunch, the place to hang out and work on the cars, and all the help with tools, airing up my tires, etc.

It really was a great time!

P.S. Chris could you PM me the name of that place you said would do a good job powder coating my wheel? I'm so jealous of all you guys and your non-ratty wheels
+1!, Robbin and I had a great time!

(I think you could swap it even faster by yourself now (with a door holder/tool chaser... ;-)

    Thanks to Derek!!!

I have an oil leak from under the crankshaft pulley ( on the rear of the car)

Is that something that could be repaired during a single day tech session, or is it a bigger deal?

    What parts might I need?

I couldn't make it Saturday, as my wife and I were celebrating our 15th anniversary right around the corner at the Legacy Lodge. I'll try to be there on the 31st though.

    Hi guys,

Saturday the 24th was a great success! Good turnout (especially for "half" a tech session) and we got stuff done. Cars left in better shape than they arrived. The job of the day was John's driver's side window motor replacement, which Ron finished after Ben left him hanging, YET AGAIN!!! (j/k Ben) It was great to meet a couple new people too. Looking forward to next Saturday. Installing Chris' exhaust is gonna be interesting.

Ben dives right in to tackle the window motor

    Lunch time

Obligatory garage full o' DeLoreans shot

Chris getting to his disintegrated angle-drive

    My dog Wall-E watching Chris

    Ron finishing Ben's work
