it seems that this shock doesn't have the double knob feature, right?

I've never seen those shocks but all others I've seen:
The shocks should have a rubber bushing in them. Then you use spacers if required to hold the shock in place. I don't think you need spacers on rear shocks, just the front.

If this is what your center piece looks like you probably don't need anything but the spacers.
