DeLorean Scale model 1/24
Back in those days, when the DeLorean scale model in 1/24 was available in 2001 on Lee Seiler's website he published a beautiful example of his kit.
A guy named Mike Griese created a blue custom model with different wheels and accessories.
Only 4 small pictures were available.
Below the picture I saved back then:

Does anyone else saw this model on his website and was able to get more pictures of it?
I wonder if the model still exist today, it's really a beautiful model.
Maybe some of you are friend of Mike?

I have this model, unpainted, in the box, it comes in a cream color

Motors about after dark
That looks like he did one heck of a job! I would love to see a 1/18 to a 1/12 scale Delorean kit released but I think I'm going to have to make a stock model from the 1/15 bttf toy.

I have an unopened Lee Seiler kit. I've never unwrapped the seal so I haven't a clue what's in the box.

For those who has the kit unbuilt, I think some people might be interested to buy it, if it is for sale of course...

I have always been curious about these kits. These are made out of a hobby resin and are derivatives of the AMT time machine? If so, is this kit a complete car or does it require the donor AMT/Aoshima model? Always wondered if there was frame and engine detail.
Don't forget there is a 1/24 Welly DMC12 that does have those features. It is also metal and could be disassembled and grained.

To answer your question, the kit is complete. You don't need anything else, just glue or paint.

I remember the Lee Seiler kit. I bought one and he mistakenly sent me two. He threatened legal action with me if I didn't return it. Fun times in my early 20's going back and forth with that guy.
From what I remember when opening one of the boxes the pieces required a lot of customizing in order to build the car right. It wasn't like a 1/24 kit you buy in a store. These pieces needed to be shaved down and tweaked to get a perfect fit.
I also remember he had a special limited edition gold car kit with real gold leaf. I wonder what happened to those.
