Same company isn't it? My problem is with ordering parts and total lack of communication. If Midwest is different / ships their own parts I will 100% try them!!

DMC MW is a delight to do business with. They are very prompt and precise with orders and know what they're talking about. They'll also really nice people!

    agree

I've only been a delorean owner for a few weeks, but I can agree. dave and julee at dmcmw are amazing to deal with. super helpful.

the same goes for rob Grady at pj Grady and josh at dpi. we are lucky to have them in the delorean community.

Somehow every thread turns into a DMCMW love-fest, even the ones focused on what we hate about our cars.

Where else could the window motor possibly be?

Or are you saying there should not be any window motor at all, just a crank?

I'd take the sliding glass personally, from a functionality perspective.

That said, the goofy windows are one of the key and most distinctive features of the car at this point and I wouldn't actually trade them for anything

The general "feel" of the car, while going down the road, over bumbs feels loose and a bit unsecure.

The ergonomics are also fairly questionable. The seating position is "good" not excellent, but the seats themselves have an off way of pressure points to the ass, which I don't prefer for a several hour trip.

That said, there is a lot they did right. It's hard to nit pick, especially with a 30+ year old car, but... I think they did more right then they did wrong. The car does work, and it IS fun to drive.
    Still rocking the Ducellier
