I remember the days you would call Delorean Motor Center and Don or Nancy would answer the phone. You would have your question answered and everything would be fine. Now you call or leave a e-mail and you hope someone responds within a week.
That's what I dislike about my car.

Hell, I'm dealing with on going issues there still that have been spanning the last three months.
You guys both seriously need to try giving DMC Midwest a call sometime. You will not be disappointed.

Dermot, you seem to suffer from the same delusions that I do.

You both have issues distinguishing the differences between males and females?

The typical experience is having dudes salivate over the car - not chicks...

    See post #33.

And consider pulling the wheels when you want to really clean them. Set them down, waist-high, on a table with a garden sprayer with water in it. Then use some spray wheel cleaner and decent tools/towels, making it a rewarding 1 hour job. It also allows you to clean the inside of the wheel as well as have a good look at your brakes and suspension all around while you're at it.

At the same time, I do agree that the wheel design itself is among the tougher ones to deal with, although not as bad as the mid-80's BMW-style web-type wheels. Ouch!! LINK: BMW wheel

    +1

    For me, my list:
    - The way the T panel sags in the middle and, to a greater extent, the fact that I'm chicken to try and fix it
    - The shitty way the rear fascia fits
    - The 32 degree A/C that somehow can't keep me comfortable in the summer
    - Speed bumps

Hey I have the same thing.
I have made trips to delorrean service center in Belgium, DMC ED, and it all runs great. but later there is trouble.
I learned the following; start the car, and stay on position for 3 minites keeping it idle. Gently let the engine get warmer, after a few minutes the problem is GONE!
Still do not know why this happens, if you do, please let me know I want to know why this happens.
