It would be good them to be someway reinforced... they're so fragile they WILL break again!

I got my new RH escutcheon last night and installed it on my car this morning. Overall I would give it an 8.5/10. I had to do some filing to fit that little square piece in (the one that goes where your mirror controls would be if it was the LH side). I had to take about a millimeter of both sides to get it to fit. It's hard to tell in these pictures, but it's not quite dark as the black of the original piece. It also doesn't seem to fit in the door quite the same as the original, although I might be able to get it straightened out with a bit more fiddling, I was in a bit of a hurry this morning. Overall it's a nice piece, and it's great to finally replace the completed busted one that I had in there. It really helps the interior look nice when you can fix these little touches. Here are some picture, including the original part and before/after installation:

looks like the curve is too steep. just like the original. probably the reason why they break at the first segment! i reall hope this is fixable...

if i look at the picture both the front and the back bits are sticking up too high, i cannot see the middle. if you pay for a new part i think it should fit.

There is not one Delorean door panel the same any more. I did fit good in the cars we did test it in.
The board/plastic from the upper panel is bend from time to time, and the metal bracket of the lower cover that hold the vent is in more thane one way flexible.
I am shore this fit all the cars with out any problem, it has a lot more flex as well thane the old type.
We do stick in the black plug before we install the escutcheon.
Nice tip and work well.
