How To: Add a remote door open actuator the simple way (NO DRILLING)

This is a test phase. But I don't think it will fail soon.
Positive is that its a very simple task without any drilling or big modifications.

I host the actuator just under the power window's rear mounting position.

    (seen upside down)

I place the actuator in that well and fasten it with tire wraps going through the two give holes in the door. Care full not to catch the exterior door handle wire along with it.
I also added a sheet of rubber for a better fastening result.

Finally I added the actuator's wire to fasten it with the front lock's wire. Its right across it

With a simple remote door lock module and controls you can have your own fascinating remote door opening effect!

I'm not sure what is going wrong but none of the pictures in your recent posts are visible - they appear as broken links.
It may be a problem on my end. Anyone else having similar issues?
    Cheers

They all work for me. The photos are on Photobucket. Maybe your connection with Photobucket is not working properly right now.

Hmmm. Strange because it's occurred on two different computers for me - Both my work and office. Other pics from other posters seem fine.
    Strange gremlin in the system.

Works on my iPhone also. I just bought a kit from DMCNW for $199.00 to do this. I also thought about just buying a simple door lock kit to do this cheaper but I must say the kit is well thought out. Not a bad idea with the wire ties but 2 simple holes is really no big deal for strength over time. Nice job though!
