    Chuck E Cheese DeLorean

I was at Chuck E Cheese recently, and the "entertainment" started singing the song "Back in Time". I didn't think much of it initially, as I figured they were just playing the song itself. But then I noticed on the video displays there was a full Back to the Future themed music video playing with all of the Chuck E Cheese characters. Including a BTTF DeLorean. Thought it was pretty nifty at that point. I couldn't find the actual source video online, but I did find this poorly recorded one from someone else's visit to Chuck E Cheese. DeLorean is visible in it, though the cameraperson doesn't keep it on the video at all times. Apparently finds it necessary to record the animatronics as well. Enjoy...

Holy crap! I expected this to be super-lame (the stage animatronics usually are), but that video on the TV was bad ass! They need to put that on youtube.

I guess Chuck E Cheese has enough employees now who are children of the 80s that this kind of stuff gets made. I can't believe the level of effort in the Starlighters stage band re-creation.

That is funny stuff! Would have never expected to see that at Chuck E Cheese. Thanks for posting!

Show Biz Pizza Place was far superior to Chuck E Cheese. Show Biz was geared towards older kids, had better food, and a much warmer atmosphere IMHO. Apparently, most people agreed with me, as Chuck E Cheese declared bankruptcy and had their assets acquired by Show Biz Pizza. Why the victor of this competition decided to dump the victorious brand and instead convert all their properties to Chuck E Cheeses is quite simply beyond me.... Definitely a business decision that baffles my mind.

That was awesome! If you go again can you get a still video of just the TV? It looks like someone back in the day was really into BTTF as that was quite elaborate.

I could see myself back there in a month or so. We tend not to go there weekly. I'll keep my phone on standby if they play it again.

I'm under the impression that video is fairly new.

I loved Showbiz Pizza as a kid. I mostly played Skeeball. I thought the robots were fascinating. I didn't care for the songs but I loved watching them move. It was obvious whoever put it together was a fan of the series. I felt sorry for the guy in the mouse costume getting stuffed into that DeLorean.

Ah, I did not know you were a father. Well, congrats, and happy Father's Day in advance!
