Motors about after dark
If you are planning on buying a DeLorean, do it before...
You get one of these in the mail:

Although I have been buying my own insurance since I started my business in 2002, I just can't do it anymore. My insurance used to be 200 or less per month back then, now I really am just backed into a corner with nowhere to go. All I can do is not carry insurance anymore (I never used it once anyway) and just pay a penalty. I imagine I'm not the only one receiving news that my insurance just tripled, so if you want that 30k car, better move on it because I doubt you will be able to in the near future.

Is this under what's left of Obamacare or changes as a result of the Trump admin?

I'm not about to get into that here as it's not allowed.

Conversely, hold on to your money as you will apparently need it for other things
Dermot

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Funny... that's one of the reason the ACA exchanges collapsed in the first place. The state government never fully embraced the ACA. IN addition individual were resistant and neglected to carry insurance. With the pool of customers gone, the providers had no choice but to raise the rates on their customers to cover those fleeing the market. Then it just snowballed as providers started fleeing the market. That said - it's working quite nicely in California because the Government supported it.

Sad to say they should have went with a single payer system instead of leaving it up to the market to decide.
...and now I'm banned for getting political... LOL

Looking at your thread title, I thought it was going to be a chance for people to "fill in the blank" to that question!
If you are planning on buying a DeLorean, do it before.......... you learn too much about what actual ownership is really like!
(Although, for your healthcare conundrum, you could just come to Canada and your hospital visits would be free of charge. You'd have to leave your guns at the border though, so I guess that'd be a drawback for you.)

I always bring guns to Canada. It's the ones who claim to not have them that you need to worry about. 😬

That's comforting... You hoping to do more reality TV appearances? This time on Border Wars?

They let you across the border with guns?! That surprises me.
