Hey Everyone,
I have a new-to-me DeLorean that's been in the family since 1991. My Dad has passed the car down to me so I'm the new caretaker for Vin 10332. 50,000 miles, Auto, Greay interior, and in terrific shape. My dad's always been good with classic cars, but he's retired and is too busy to keep up with the car. Looking forward to meeting you all!

So we just picked up #1317: Auto, black, 24000 miles, completely stock. We're the third owners and she came with a lot of extra materials and info.
I probably shouldn't have bought this one without having done more research but it sounded good enough to go on, so far I am happy. There are a few cosmetic issues and some very minor other problems (intermittent starter failure, engine cover latch, door lock issues to name a few).

On any "early" car, you should make sure all of the recalls and service bulletins have been done along with any updates like replacing the plastic header bottle, plastic clutch hose, etc.

Hello all! I am finally a Delorean owner after many years of dreaming of one. I hope to learn a lot about the car and keep it running for future generations. I have already solved a hot start issue by replacing the fuel accumulator. Next task is figuring out why it sometimes idles real bad. Hopefully nothing too serious.
Hi guys,
I just wanted to say "Hi", and post some pictures of my "new" car: VIN 10207.
It's a december 1981 build automatic w/gray interior.
I've installed Tom's extended convex mirrors, so far, and a few minor cosmetic items, and generally I'm trying to learn how to turn the wrenches my self.

Congrats and welcome. Looks good. Awesome how you got the car to stick to the wall in some of those pics
