I have no idea where the engine number listed for my car, VIN 10921, was obtained, my engine number is 000000529. I am attaching a photo to verify, but I could not get all the zeros in the shot since the Stage 1 makes that impossible for my camera. All other information is correct.

I purchased this car several years ago from Ron Nolan in Edmonds WA.
Build Date: March 1981.
The car is now located in Lake Forest Park, WA.

What would have caused a particular VIN to be built in a drastically different time of the year than those with VINs very near it? For example, VIN 2079 was built in Sept, but all the VINs close to it were built in June.
