Now that the reproduction dashes have been out and baking in the sun for a longer period of time...was just wondering if anyone has seen potential problems with them yet. Any discoloration, cracking, warping, etc ?
Since the binnacles were supposed to launch this summer, but never did...I would imagine they've had problems with them on the latest batch like when exposed in the sun, etc. Now if the new dashes are made of the same material as the binnacle...I'd expect the dashes to be having problems as well or were they made by different companies ?
Stephen seemed to indicate that on multiple projects of these reproduction parts.... some of these smaller companies have folded before the part was finished being reproduced, so a couple of times they have had to virtually start the process over. That would really suck if "the new dashboards" maker that had successful dashes went out of business before they also had a chance to make successful binnacles thus leaving it to a new company that can't seem to get it right.
