I have just received a bunch of parts to convert my tranny from auto to manual, and while inspecting it all it appears that the clevis of the Crossgate Lever #106652 is not engaging fully with the Control Shaft Assy (I think that's what it is called). See the red circle in the first picture. It doesn't reach. Could it be that the Crossgate Mount Bracket has been bent in shipping? The red arrows in the first picture indicates the direction in which I think the bracket might have been bent, but I'm not sure. The bracket has a slight curvature to it but it's hard to say if it was caused by a "hit" or is it was designed like that. I am also attaching a couple more angles.
The stuff was shipped from CA and packaged very poorly. All of the stuff (tranny, clutch, pedals, linkages, cylinders etc) was put in a cardboard box and placed on a pallet. It is very possible that the manual tranny rolled over in the flimsy cardboard box.
Thanks,
