I will feel bad if this is genuine, but the pictures in this ad are so wrong that it must be.

(though Ron's number seems to link to a genuine detailing outfit)

Five pictures - 5 separate and different cars?

Ron, if you are out there - real pictures of the real $28,000 car please!

Looks like European plates on the front as well!

That first picture used to be one of the top Google results for "DeLorean" and that second picture is the "Ready Player One" contest car that was given away. Gotta love Craigslist!

One has a fender antenna, the other doesn't. One has chrome exhaust tips, the other doesn't. Several have stock front springs, one has aftermarket springs.

Yep that last one is my car!!!
It was taken on the taxi way of a small local airport.
You can see the red outline of a Belgian licence plate.

I knew someone would recognize their car :)

"All these cars look the same don't they" sez Ron

For kicks, I emailed the guy and asked for photos of the frame and engine. This is the picture I got back:

The only words in the email response: "In my garage"

I like how the photo only has a DeLorean in the background.

And it is yet another different car :)

What do people hope to gain from these scams? Are people dumb enough to send money without seeing a car?

Maybe he's including all five cars in the deal. :)

Looks like someone on Craig's List figured out how to use Google Image Search. Only took thirteen years.

What's weird is, I would imagine google image searching "delorean frame" or "delorean engine" would yield a much more relevant picture than that garage pic.

Hey, give it time. Obviously, whoever did the ad is a slow learner. ;-)

Yes. You would be amazed. If it didn't work, people wouldn't be doing it.

We had one on Ebay UK a few weeks ago, again using about five different pictures from different locations, one of them even had a picture that included my wife standing next to a car! not even a flattering one;)

Well, that's why we post them on here so that hopefully potential owners will see them and ask questions.

Does "Ron" have a D to sell and is just lazy in taking actual pictures of his actual car? Possibly.
