Anyone driving through Virginia Beach area recently?

My sister's boyfriend said he saw a DeLorean within the last couple of days but didn't catch the license plate. Was anybody passing through recently?

i was in VA beach last month for cars and coffee. I think the next one is this weekend, by the way. Aside from that, short trips through hampton, newport news, suffolk and smithfield.

haha I was just around that area last night, one of my best friends lives around there.

Yup, I know exactly where that is...I only know of two DeLoreans nearby. One was in a neighborhood off Lynnhaven but that was about 5 or 6 years ago and then recently I learned that someone owns one in Chesapeake because he was selling it on ebay.

... I think. Genro's in the Haygood Shopping hosts an amateur car show every Saturday starting about 4ish goes to about 8ish. I was headed home down Little Creek Rd at about 9 PM. Is there another owner near by? Because I'd love to get in touch.

My uncle lives in that area, back in Alanton. When I was 15 he took me down the road from his house and it was somewhere near the small ampitheater there was a D at a gas station with a missing louvers off of it and a missing back windshield. If my D was running I'd come down there and hang with you guys 8/

Well that's why I was surprised that I hadn't heard from you on the boards. I've been on here like 8 months looking for people near Virginia Beach.

Did you happen to stop at a Tropical Smoothie because I think that's where my sister's boyfriend said he saw the car.

Yes, that was most definitely me. I stopped in there just before we took off for home. As to the meeting question, hells yes. I've been looking for others for almost as long as I've had the car. I've never been to C and C, but it sounds nice. When do we meet up?

I'm so excited!! This will be great! with the exception of my trip to Florida I've never seen another or met the owner!!

It'll be awesome. I went to the DMA Spring Social in April and everybody was great. Two members took me for a ride and one actually let me drive his and afterwards I had zero doubt in my mind about getting one.

On Saturday once again I'll be the one without a DeLorean but I don't care, I'll own one sooner rather than later and I love meeting others in the DMC community.

The wife and I did a quick recon down there to the promenade shops yesterday, wow! What a set of shops. And a nice big parking lot. I was talking to the guys in the Starbucks and they were telling me that the place gets PACKED with beautiful cars! I look forward to seeing you all there, I hop you can make it!
