OLD style Engine wiring harness

So our car has everything it needs to run, however the engine wiring harness is still a mess. Ive repaired it fairly well and figured out most of the connection locations. But there is still more to connect but the layout doesn't reach certain areas. This is an early car (774) and have noticed a number of parts and things not found on later model DMC's. I know there are a couple of engine wiring harness for these cars used throughout production but this one seems to be something used during pre-production, maybe even on some of the prototypes. The mystery behind this cars history continues to grow each day. Does anyone know anything about very early style harness's? I've been aching to finally start it up but this is the only issue holding me back :dunno:

The lowest VIN I worked on was below 1000, this may be already too high,
but I haven't really seen a noticeable difference to mine.
