My car has been without seatbelts for 7 years. (I know what you're thinking, but relax...I've driven it maybe 250 miles in that time frame which as I type this I realize how sad that really is)....anywho, I've got new belts to anchor into the car and I've got questions about the mounting hardware. I have no idea why I did it, but apparently I took all the hardware out for removal and tossed it into 3 separate piles in my house, attic, and garage. I am now finding it difficult to identify what goes where, and what I'm missing, etc. I must have assumed I would toss everything and buy new...but now I jump on delorean.com and see that half this stuff is no longer available. Grrrrr. Why this stuff wasn't bagged and marked is beyond me. I think I found the majority of it, but wanted to make sure so if someone can identify this stuff or if you have your seatbelts out recently maybe you could lend me some help since hopefully it looks familiar to you or you could snap me some pictures.
Starting with the upper mount.... I'm thinking this is what I need to secure the upper seat belt attachment. That would be #7, #8, #9 on the diagram. I can't tell by DMC's picture if the washer is flat or a spring washer, but I'm going with spring washer since the bolt I found had one on it. I also am wondering about what exactly #10 is on the diagram. It says large black washer. Is it metal ? Is it plastic? Because I have both in my pile. My gripe about DMCH is that every part should be pictured on their website although I understand that would be difficult and I'll save that argument for a different time. There is a washer type washer glued to the body of the car (see picture) but I have no idea if this is what they are talking about as that one looks like a large top hat. Diagram says 4 used on this page.
