Depends on how much coolant you take out but the short answer is yes.

OK, I read up on Josh's method of bleeding, so I suppose thats on the list of projects :)

What's there to bleed? The tank is at the top of the system. Assuming you just pump out the coolant, remove the tank and install the new one, you should be fine just refilling. I've done this twice so far with no need to fully bleed the system. You would have to drain the coolant well below the tank to get an air pocket elsewhere.
