The first time I saw one of these in Chilli's I had driven the DeLorean there so it seemed fitting.

Haven't been to Chili's in a while. Red Robin has had them for over a year :) Kind if neat in a way, but we only used it to pay our bill once. Just another way to not interact with a human, haha. So since you can order food & pay your bill with it, it makes me think of this:

These things are garbage. They are eye candy for the kids. Our three year old clicked on the games section and they tried to bill us for the games. If you have a coupon you have to wait for the server to update it, and at that point it's quicker just to pay the server than use the device for paying. It's also a constant commercial, begging you to buy more food or desserts. Btw, you can't even use it to order refills for more drinks unless its alcohol. Good thing they aren't anchored to the table, we always move them behind the menus so we don't have to look at them.
