Dude - it's a spare tire and wheel that weighs a decent amount and take a decent sized box to ship. $50 is totally acceptable IMO. That's kind of rude to ask the seller for a "hookup".

You seems to have it listed in a weird way. Even thought it's in Canada, it tells me the item "may not ship to Canada". Unfortunately I just picked on up last week, so I"m good.

I'd love to ship for less, but as mentioned its not a cheap item to ship! Especially to the states.
