Door Weatherstripping

When I raise my passenger side drop glass, the glass takes part of the foam trim piece with it (it separates the drop glass from the door trim). I would imagine this is a common problem. Is there anything I can do to save it? Would it be better to simply remove what's left altogether?

Is that the little furry strip? I had to take the upper trim panel off and glue the furry strip back down onto the metal bracket.

Remove it and replace it with the fuzzy side of Velcro (tm) using the original gripper.

Can't advise you on the shorts.

Yes, you can save it - I just reattached the fuzzy strp to the metal bracket on my driver's side, just before DCS.

Remove the upper door panel. Then remove the wipe seal. Glue the fuzzy strip back to the metal bracket. Allow the adhesive to dry/cure. Reinstall the parts you removed.

Not too bad a job, IMHO.
