Hi,

found this post on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DeLorean-DMC-12-Coupe-gullwing-81-delorean-dmc-12-parts-car-/231312469464?forcerrptr=true&hash=item35db4c2dd8&item=231312469464&pt=US_Cars_Trucks) selling a burned out (rear only) D for parts. Is the owner on the forum to let me/us know what happened to it and why it burned?

It's current sale price would cover the sale of the left fender alone.

And if that owner is on the forum can we find out whether there was a fire extinguisher handy - perhaps under the (now bent up) trunk lid when this D went up in smoke?

You can almost see the sad story unfold...

It's a shame we lost what looks like a formerly nice hood there. On top of so much of the rest of that D.
